Common Questions About Safety Consultations
What's the schedule like?
5/10s or 6/10s. That’s five or six 10-hour days. Expect 50-60 hours weekly. Some projects need weekend coverage.
How long are assignments?
Multi-year. Contracts start at 12 months with extensions. Many consultants stay on the same project for 2-3 years.
Is this W-2 or 1099?
1099 only. You operate as an independent LLC. You handle your own taxes and insurance.
What if I'm still working toward my BCSP?
Let us know where you are in the process. We require certification for most roles, but if you’re close, we can talk.
Do you cover travel or housing?
Depends on the project. Some include per diem or housing. We’ll cover specifics when discussing a particular role.
